Sadly, there are no indoor climbing centres in Bath. Therefore we go to either of the two in Bristol. The Climbing Academy (TCA) is an indoor bouldering centre. The Club organises regular trips there on the train and other members also use the forums to organise other trips there. Undercover Rock (UCR) is an indoor climbing wall with top-rope, sport leading and bouldering facilities. The Club organises fewer trips here so keep an eye on your email inboxes for details of upcoming trips.
Every week, on a Thursday, the BUMC heads down to our favourite watering hole: The Ram. It's a great place to meet up with many of the members of the club as well as keep in touch with ex-members, who we may not see on as many trips. It is home to a great selection of ales, lagers, ciders and non-alchoholic alternatives, so there are drinks to suit everyone.
